Salon J Ladner and Spa provides dimensional hair coloring, trending haircuts, facial waxing, special occasion updos and makeup, hair relaxing, and texture services. At the salon’s Color Bar, Joshua and his stylists create extraordinary looks through advanced techniques including ombré, block coloring, and balayage.

The owners Joshua and Vince Ladner are new to Dayton, but have already fallen in love with the city. They’ve not only chosen to open a salon downtown, but have also made downtown their home.

Joshua is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Tampa. As a nationally published stylist, he’s worked as a production manager for New York Fashion Week, working hand-in-hand with modeling agencies, designers, and front and back of house teams in order to achieve the ultimate vision of the runway shows. He’s been named by Beauty Launchpad, a leading beauty magazine, as “a rebel with a beauty cause," and has been featured in print and online interviews inspiring young artists and entrepreneurs. He is also OutServe Magazine’s fashion and style editor, providing trend advice, photo spreads, and designer spotlight articles. Joshua has also worked on photo shoots with Target Corporation, TURN Magazine, Askasalon.com, Jadabeauty.com and more.
